Brooklyn Daily Eagle

The Brooklyn Daily Eagle is a morning newspaper that comes out five days a week. It holds the distinction of being the only daily newspaper in New York City that focuses solely on Brooklyn. Founded in 1841, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle enjoyed uninterrupted publication until 1955 when it ceased operations. That same year, the Brooklyn Daily Bulletin started as a successor to the Eagle and continued to publish until 1996, when it merged with the reborn Daily Eagle. Today, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle and Brooklyn Daily Bulletin proudly share a history of continuous publication dating back to 1841.
