3. Test Results and Analysis 3.1. Experimental PhenomenaFor the axial compression specimens, the damage process was similar for all five specimens. The damage pattern is illustrated by the example of I-PSRPC-3, where the specimen is in the elastic phase at the beginning of the loading period and no cracks are evident. When loaded to 30% of the ultimate load (Pmax), a small crack appears at the top end of the column.
