The following exchange took place only in my mind. Dispatcher: “911, what is your emergency?” Me: “Your program on ABC has given me trauma, PTSD and dehydration from tears” Dispatcher: “Ma’am, that is not an actual emergency situation. Perhaps therapy is in order.” Me: “I think you may be right.” Given that the shocking story line of the ABC TV show 9-1-1 was weeks ago, I think I’m safe in discussing it without spoiling anything for viewers.

While most of you are enjoying a chocolate hangover from Easter (or maybe federal politics is your thing), I am relishing my death journal. Yes, I was gifted not one but two. What’s a death journal, you ask? That’s what I call it. Others may refer to it as an end-of-life planner. It seems to be the latest craze online. It's just a notebook wherein you fill in all your important information to be left behind when you shuffle off this mortal coil. It may seem a little bit morbid.
