AbstractThe blood urea nitrogen to albumin ratio (BAR) has been demonstrated as a prognostic factor in sepsis and respiratory diseases, yet its role in severe coronary heart disease (CHD) remains unexplored. This retrospective study, utilizing data from the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care-IV database, included 4254 CHD patients, predominantly male (63.54%), with a median age of 74 years (IQR 64–83).
