BRAZORIA — City Council members all agreed cleaning up Brazoria is one of the city’s main goals for 2025, committing to address the number of ramshackle structures and other unsightly issues around town. Councilwoman Susan Swanner Parker brought up the issue and passed around a pamphlet containing pictures of the buildings and businesses that needed to be dealt with. Parker expressed her concern with council colleagues and asked that action be taken in the future to clean up Brazoria.

BRAZORIA — While many care to hold onto their scrapbooks and Polaroid photographs, it is recommended the images now be stored digitally to protect both the physical copies and the memories. “Printed photographs are great, but they can be fragile objects. BRAZORIA — In a spacious artificial pond in a small museum room full of animal skins, fake trees and preserved snake heads lives a turtle named Jane Long. Although she never ran an inn or shot a musket, she is known as a tough little amphibian who has lived her life well. The members of the Brazoria Heritage Foundation have cared for Jane since her appearance at the museum and always make her a highlight of their museum tours, volunteer Bob Schwebel said.
