9 min readOn May 5, 1994, the Brazilian city of São Paulo, a metropolitan area of over ten million people, ground to a halt. In the midst of three days of national mourning, the city simply stopped moving as over half of its population lined its streets to bid farewell to a racing driver on his final journey. Draped in the national flag, his casket was carried live around a community in mourning. Over 30 years later his name still resonates, eliciting the deepest and most heartfelt of emotions.

First time in Long Beach so took a track walk with @Hinchtown and I’ve got to tell you this circuit is intense. Way more undulation than you imagine. The short parts are shorter the long blasts are longer and the tight turns are tighter than you ever imagined from TV. Incredible
