RYLAN Gray finally broke through for his maiden Dunlop Super2 Series race win, leading every lap from pole to claim Race 3 of the 2025 season at Symmons Plains. HE didn’t explicitly say it, but Thomas Randle made it pretty clear why he thought his Ford finished second to a Chevrolet in Race 11. Randle led the early stages from pole position at Symmons Plains, all the while harried by eventual winner Broc Feeney. The move finally came on lap 11 of 50; the Triple Eight car got down the inside of the Tickford car at the hairpin, then pulled ahead around the outside of the curved back straight to take a winning lead.

THOMAS Randle claimed his second pole position in two years at Symmons Plains after a tense finish to the first Supercars qualifying session of the weekend in Tasmania. The Tickford Racing gun used the slipstream of both Triple Eight Camaros and his Tickford Racing teammate Cam Waters to nab pole position by the miniscule margin of 0.0082s. “This is an awesome credit to the whole team,” he told Fox Sports.

EREBUS Motorsport has had both its cars disqualified from Practice 1 in Tasmania for having the wrong drop gear installed in their transaxles. Both Jack Le Brocq and Cooper Murray completed just five laps before the issue was identified, with both cars spending the rest of the half-hour session in the garage while the right ones were installed.

BROC Feeney made it a perfect pair of Supercars practice sessions on Friday at Symmons Plains. The Triple Eight pilot added the fastest time in Practice 2 to his session-topping effort in Practice 1 earlier this afternoon. He left it very late though; his second push lap on a set of new Super Soft tyres delivered a 51.0887s lap as the chequered flag waved.

ZACH Bates ended Friday’s Dunlop Super2 Series’ running on top at Symmons Plains. Just as he did at Sydney Motorsport Park in February, the reigning second-tier champion headed the second practice session in the #1 Eggleston Motorsport Commodore. Although Bates finished the session on top by 0.0235s from Bailey Sweeny, the Blanchard Racing Team driver’s Practice 1-topping effort from the morning session held to be the fastest time of the day by just 0.0017s.
