THREE-TIME AFL premiership winner Jason Akermanis is a rev head from way back, but did you know he once tested a Stone Brothers Racing V8 Supercar Ford Falcon? The Brownlow Medal winner steered Mark Winterbottom’s Milligans Falcon AU Konica Series car in 2003 at Queensland Raceway with tutelage from then-SBR ace Russell Ingall. Reports of the period indicated ‘Aker’ turned laps in the low 1m20-second bracket and had the #41 Ford up to 240km/h on the straights.

RYLAN Gray finally broke through for his maiden Dunlop Super2 Series race win, leading every lap from pole to claim Race 3 of the 2025 season at Symmons Plains. But changing his four Chevrolet Camaros to Toyota Supras for 2026 proved a surprisingly easy decision to make. OFFICIAL: Brad Jones Racing to be second Toyota team“I’m a creature of habit, so change is not always easy,” he told Fox Sports.

DICK Johnson Racing’s Saturday at Symmons Plains could be about to go from bad to worse. The team has been called before the Stewards over an alleged technical breach on both its cars during qualifying for Race 11. As a result, Brodie Kostecki and Will Davison may be disqualified from the results of the session, which would put them to the rear of the grid for the opening race of the Snowy River Caravans Tasmania Super440.
