    Tenants were forced to live with leaks, damp and mould in their homes last year as councils failed to act, delayed, or otherwise did not help them fix the problems. According to the latest data from the Housing Ombudsman, there were 79 instances in 2024 where tenants were considered to be "victims of maladministration" due to council failings in Yorkshire.
