BostonTens of thousands of people crowded Copley Square for Boston’s LGBTQIA2S+ Pride parade on June 14, with a reported one million watching along the route. Prominent and popular among the groups participating was a militant “No Pride in Genocide” bloc that included the Boston Coalition for Palestine, Democratic Socialists of America, Mass Peace Action, Jewish Voice for Peace, Party for Socialism and Liberation, ACT UP and Workers World Party activists.

Milford, MassachusettsAfter mass protests, immigration authorities released Marcelo Gomes Da Silva, an 18-year-old high school junior kidnapped by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on May 31. Born in Brazil, Gomes Da Silva has lived in the U.S since he was seven years old. ICE agents kidnapped him as he was driving to volleyball practice and took him to a detention center in Burlington, Massachusetts.
