In Class 2A, the duo of London Taylor and Jake Nelson from Waukee Northwest took home the crown. The Wolves took down a pair of teammates, Kellan Croatt and Riley Hilton, in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) in the title match. North Scott's team of Maddy Jepsen and Lucas Persson finished third.

The 2025 Iowa high school golf season is in the books following the conclusion of the state co-ed golf tournament on June 10. In Class 2A, the duo of Molly Ratchford and Anthony Galvin from Cedar Falls took home the state title at the Cedar Pointe Golf Course in Boone. The pair shot a combined 68, claiming the crown by two strokes over the team from Cedar Rapids Washington, Jane Petersen and Preston Haefner.

The Iowa boys high school soccer season is winding down, which means it's almost time to crown a state champion in all four of the state's classes. On Monday, the state tournament kicks off, with 32 total teams vying for the title of state champion across Iowa's four classes. Wednesday's state quarterfinals will be held at various sites across the state. Following the quarterfinals, teams will be re-seeded and placed into brackets for the following rounds.
