At its meeting on Monday, June 16, the Mayfield Independent Schools (MIS) Board of Education outlined an adjustment to the district’s technology plan and highlighted the success of the ongoing summer meal program. First, MIS technology team director Cheri Gossett said that Chromebook laptops will only be issued to high schoolers starting in the fall. In previous years, MIS assigned Chromebooks to all students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade.
