We've published a new interactive map of the 2024 election that shows results by precinct, the most detailed vote data available. The New York Times is also releasing this data set for others to use. The map allows most Americans to look up how their city, neighborhood and even their block voted in the race between Donald J. Trump and Kamala Harris, and see how vote margins have shifted since 2020.

We are excited to announce that Eric Rabinowitz is joining the Graphics department on Monday as a graphics developer for publishing and storytelling tools. Eric joined The Times in 2021, and comes to us from the Messaging and Personalization product team. There, he worked as a senior software engineer focused on newsletter tooling, building software to allow for the creation of expressive visual templates and themes.

We are excited to announce that Alexandria Symonds is the news editor in Graphics, a new role in our editing leadership group. Alex will be responsible for shaping and driving a strategy for how we cover daily news on the desk. This will include leading and editing our breaking news coverage, managing how we’re covering multiple newsy storylines, and coordinating these efforts with the rest of the newsroom.
