1. IntroductionThe maneuverability of a ship is directly related to its safety during navigation. Many international standards have been proposed for ship maneuvering issues, which provide regulations and safety recommendations for maneuverability indicators of different ship types and propose new research directions [1,2,3]. This indicates that ship maneuvering remains one of the most important research areas in the field of ocean engineering [4,5].
