1 Introduction Mountain ecosystems constitute a significant component of terrestrial ecosystems and harbor unique ecological functions (Li et al. 2018; Li et al. 2022a, 2022b). Altitude and aspects within mountain ecosystems bring about substantial changes in plants, soil, and climate, among other factors, thereby exerting further influence on microbial communities.
