Seeds of Nicotiana tabacum ‘NC89’ and pure ‘OE-SikCDPK1’ transgenic tobacco of T3 generation were used in current investigation. Germinant Nicotiana tabacum were transferred to pots containing vermiculite in the greenhouse at 28/20°C under 16-h light/8-h dark photoperiod (60% relative humidity). When the tobacco grew to six leaves and one heart, the following treatments were set up, respectively. Cold treatment: transgenic and non-transgenic plants, treated at -4 °C for 3 h.

AbstractTuberculosis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tb) is a major public health problem with high morbidity and mortality worldwide. In our previous study, we found that a fermentation product of Streptomyces flavofungini TRM90047 exhibited anti-M. tb activity and decreased the expression level of several genes, including rpsL, Rplc and ClpC1.

In the experiment, a total of 46,900 SNPs from 723 sheep underwent genotypic quality control. After removing SNPs that did not meet the quality control criteria, 41,831 SNPs remained for further analysis. The genetic diversity results for the seven sheep breeds are as follows (Table 1): KUN has the lowest F (-0.0746), while HET has the highest (0.0464). KUN has the lowest MAF (0.2665), while HET has the highest (0.2977). KUN has the lowest Ho (0.5898), while QIR has the highest (0.6450).

The study protocol was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee at the School/Hospital of Stomatology Xinjiang Medical University, Urumqi, PR China, with the onset of baselined data collection (approval no. IACUC20210706-11). The procedures in this study were completed in accordance with the standards set out in the Announcement of Helsinki and laboratory regulations of research in China.
