AbstractLimited prognostic factors have been associated with overall survival (OS) post-relapse in childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Patients enrolled on 12 Children’s Oncology Group frontline ALL trials (1996–2014) were analyzed to assess for additional prognostic factors associated with OS post-relapse. Among 16,115 patients, 2053 (12.7%) relapsed. Relapse rates were similar for B-ALL (12.5%) and T-ALL (11.2%) while higher for infants (34.2%).

Among the polyphenolic compounds commonly found in green tea, (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) is known to have various functions, including the promotion of antioxidant and myofiber growth in mammals. However, the effect of EGCG on common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) remains poorly understood. To evaluate the role of EGCG on juvenile common carp, 255 fish (initial weight 17.33 ± 0.34 g) were fed with five experimental diets containing 0, 0.05, 0.25, 0.5, and 1 g/kg EGCG.

AbstractThe dimension of the void area in pavement is crucial to its structural safety. However, there is no effective method to measure its geometric parameters. To address this issue, a void size extraction algorithm based on the continuous wavelet transform (CWT) method was proposed using ground-penetrating radar (GPR) signal. Firstly, the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method was used to investigate the GPR response of void areas with different shapes, sizes, and depths.
