Guanidyl-rich ɑ-helical polypeptide enables efficient cytosolic pro-protein delivery and CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing Intracellular delivery of proteins has attracted great interest for biological research and cancer treatment, but still faces challenge of lacking effective delivery approaches. Herein, we developed an efficient strategy via cationic ɑ-helical polypeptide-mediated anionic proprotein delivery.

In the experiment, we used two alfalfa varieties with different drought tolerance (relatively drought-tolerant Longdong and drought-sensitive Algonquin) as experiment materials based on our previous research [11]. Seeds of the two cultivars were kindly provided by Dr. Haiqing Wang (Northwest Institute of Plateau Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xining, China). After surface-sterilization with 5% NaClO solution for 10 min, alfalfa seeds were vernalized at 4 ℃ for 2 days in the dark.

AbstractSystemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a multi-system autoimmune disease. Many viruses have been reported to be associated with SLE, but the diversity of the virome in SLE and the mechanisms underlying the interactions between viral infection and SLE are still unclear. This study identified ten human virus species from 826 RNA-Seq samples of human blood from 688 SLE patients and 138 healthy controls.
