[한국미디어뉴스통신=신화통신] 중국이 지난해 32제타바이트(ZB) 이상의 데이터를 생산한 것으로 추산됐다. 중국 국가데이터국에 따르면 31개 성(省)급 지역과 신장(新疆)생산건설병단은 모두 데이터 관련 기관을 설립했다. 류례훙(劉烈宏) 국가데이터국 국장은 2023년 말 기준, 중국에 구축된 8개 국가 컴퓨팅 허브에 총 105만 개 이상의 표준 랙이 설치됐다고 전했다. 이어 평균 활용률은 61.9%로 2022년보다 3.9%포인트 더 높아졌다고 설명했다. 류 국장은 데이터 표준화를 위한 국가 메커니즘을 구축 및 개선하고 데이터 부문의 산업 표준 제정을 가속화하겠다고 약속했다. 한편 중국은 데이터 기반 발전을 강화하기 위한 노력을 강화하고 있다. 국가데이터국은 디지털 경제와 사회를 포함한 '디지털 중국' 건설 계획의 일환으로 지난해 10월 출범된 정부 기관이다.
