1 INTRODUCTION Non-melanoma skin cancer stands as the preeminent malignancy within the United States, with its incidence persistently ascending over the preceding two decades.1 Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) ranks as the second most prevalent non-melanoma skin cancer subsequent to basal cell carcinoma, deriving its origin from keratin-producing cells within the epidermis or adnexal structures.2 Based on the available data, the incidence of CSCC exhibits some global variability.
