Electrocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR), driven by proton (H+)-coupled electron (e–) transfer, is a promising technology for high-value multicarbon products (C2+) while addressing the carbon environmental crisis. (1−6) Flow cells are the ideal reactors at industrial-scale current densities (≥200 mA cm–2) for their continuous operation and high efficiency.

AbstractSuper-resolution structured illumination microscope (SR-SIM) has been established as a powerful tool for visualizing subcellular dynamics and studying organelle interactions in live cells. However, the interfering Gaussian beams result in a limited and nonuniform field of view (FOV) which hinders its application for large whole-cell dynamics and pathological sample imaging.

Electrocatalytic CO2 reduction into value-added fuels and chemicals by renewable electric energy is one of the important strategies to address global energy shortage and carbon emission. Though the classical H-type electrolytic cell can quickly screen high-efficiency catalysts, the low current density and limited CO2 mass transfer process essentially impede its industrial applications.
