Indian fashion retailer Arvind Fashions‘ profit after tax declined 5 per cent to 560 million rupees (US$6.7 million) despite revenue increasing 5 per cent to 42.59 billion rupees. In the fiscal fourth quarter, the fashion retailer’s profit after tax surged 72 per cent year over year to 250 million rupees as revenue rose 4 per cent to 10.94 billion rupees.

Australian beauty brand Aesop has transformed 38 of its storefronts in Australia and New Zealand with algae-based window decals. The textured decals, created by bioplastic artist and Other Matter studio founder Jessie French, are designed to be repurposed and reused in a self-sustaining closed-loop system. This provides an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional materials such as PVC.

Four executives in Bunnings’ management team have departed the hardware chain in a move that was described as a “reshaping” rather than a restructure. In a note to customers, the company said it will be working on an AI shopping tool in the meantime. According to Startup Daily, this email was sent to Little Birdie customers on Friday evening. It has also been posted on the company’s website, informing users that its website, app, and extension experiences are being switched off for an undisclosed period of time.
