AbstractThis study delves into the correlation between the triglyceride glucose-body mass index (TyG-BMI) index upon hospital admission and clinical outcomes among this patient population. We investigated the association between TyG-BMI at hospital admission and clinical outcomes in this patient group, and analyzed data from the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care IV database, identifying acute pancreatitis (AP) patients admitted to ICUs and stratifying them by TyG-BMI quartiles.
