KUALA LUMPUR, April 11 — Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB) will rebuild 81 homes that were completely destroyed in the Putra Heights gas pipeline fire, with costs financed by the government, Buletin TV3 reported. The report quoted SPNB chief executive, Mohd Jamil Idris saying that of the 81 houses, 48 are residences in Taman Putra Harmoni, whilst 33 more are in Kampung Kuala Sungai Baru.

SUBANG JAYA, April 10 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) and the Selangor state government will conduct a coordinated clean-up effort this weekend, to further assist residents of Putra Heights affected by the recent gas pipeline blaze. PUTRAJAYA, April 9 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has requested for a comprehensive list of workers and companies affected by the Putra Heights gas pipeline explosion to properly assess the damage and determine the necessary steps to aid recovery.
