3. Numerical Modeling and Parametric Analysis Parameter Selection 3.1. Numerical Modeling and Analysis of a Typical CaseIn practice, the strength reduction method can be combined with finite element numerical simulation software, such as Flac 3D and PLAXIS, to analyze and calculate the slope stability. In this study, Flac 3D 6.0 numerical software is used to establish the corresponding model to analyze the stability of the palm face under different cases with different reinforcement arrangements.
