Two randomized, double-blind, single-ascending-dose, phase 1 studies were conducted concurrently in China (Study CHN; NCT04973189) and Australia (Study AUS; NCT04745104). Study CHN consisted of two parts, with Part 1 involving healthy young subjects aged 18–45 years and Part 2 involving healthy elderly subjects aged 55–80 years.

1 Introduction The need for energy storage systems has surged over the past decade, driven by advancements in electric vehicles and portable electronic devices.[1] Nevertheless, the energy density of state-of-the-art lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries has been approaching the limit since their commercialization in 1991.[2] The advancement of next-generation energy storage systems offers significant potential for boosting battery energy density.
