Some call it "a stack of books" – that odd-shaped building you see from Storrow Drive rising 19 stories above Boston University. Regarded as the school's most energy-efficient building, it was the site of a green entrepreneurial competition involving 14 teams. Two from Arlington High School drew recognition in November. Yujia Wang, YourArlington's AHS intern, provides an inside story.

AbstractVascular calcification (VC) is a common complication of chronic kidney disease (CKD), for which no effective therapies are available. Hyperphosphatemia, a feature of CKD, is a well-known inducer of VC. High phosphate (HP)-induced ferroptosis plays a crucial role in CKD-related VC (CKD-VC), but the mechanisms remain unclear. Lipocalin-2 (LCN2), an iron-trafficking protein, has been implicated in ferroptosis regulation.
