3. Results 3.1. Spatial Patterns of Carbon EmissionsGlobal forest fire carbon emissions are characterized not only by significant changes in time but also by different spatial distributions. Figure 3 shows the spatial characteristics of the global annual average global forest fire carbon emissions (2016–2022). Our study shows that the forest fire carbon emission globally is about 3439 Tg during the last 7 years.
