While I didn’t give Still Wakes the Deep a rave review when it came out, it was still a solid cinematic first-person horror experience with fantastic voice acting that was let down by its gameplay loop. The game’s setting – an oil rig in the North Sea – was an excellent choice for a horror title, and when Secret Mode and The Chinese Room announced story DLC for Still Wakes the Deep, I was excited to dive back in.

Just recently, I was gallivanting around Europe and spent some time in Romania, taking in parts of Transylvania and soaking up the beautiful architecture and history. Upon return, I was stoked to return to Transylvania in Near-Mage, the latest adventure from Romanian developer Stuck in Attic since its debut Gibbous: A Cthulhu Adventure, a title I really enjoyed (so much so that I backed Near-Mage during its Kickstarter campaign).

Secret Mode and The Chinese Room have announced Still Wakes the Deep: Siren’s Rest today, a new paid expansion that will land on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on June 18. Siren’s Rest is set more than 10 years after the events of the main game and sees you return to the Beira D. This time, you’re part of a specialist dive that is sent to explore the underwater wreckage to try and piece together what happened back in 1975.

Recently, I was able to go hands-on with an early build that showcases the vision Lucernal is looking to execute.

It may be summer in LA where Geoff Keighley’s annual Summer Game Fest is taking place, but Down Under and across the pond (Australia and New Zealand if that reference didn’t make sense), the weather for thongs (the feet kind) and jandals has passed, and it’s the time of the year where the slippers get a lot action.

With RE9's character having ties to RE Outbreak, maybe it's proof Capcom read my piece a few years back and will give us a new (or remastered) Outbreak. Or not. But I can dream. https://t.co/MaA35WD9cG

My predictions, hopes and dreams for SGF Lock it in Geoffy – Resident Evil 9 announcement – Mixtape release date Yeah nah maybe – Far Cry 7 announcement teaser – New Asobo Studio game announced Stop trying to make fetch happen – Dino Crisis remake announcement

If the season wasn't already over it definitely is now. Pathetic performance from a pathetic club.

A missed opportunity under the roof. #AFLBluesGiants #AFLDeadly https://t.co/RBnzrKJqxM
