    AJ Ferrari is not headed to North Carolina after all. The 2021 national champion at 197 pounds will soon be back in the transfer portal, according to multiple reports. Ferrari announced his commitment to North Carolina in April after placing third nationally while with Cal State Bakersfield last month. He previously competed for Oklahoma State. According to the reports, Ferrari's quick departure from North Carolina was driven by the school's administration, not by Ferrari.
