    Noah Kent is swinging his way closer to a dream as he prepares to step into the tee box at Augusta National for The Masters. “It’s kind of like golf heaven, so being able to compete with some of the best players in the world, the best tournament, is pretty amazing,” said Kent. The University of Florida sophomore golfer earned his spot at the Masters after securing second place at the U.S. Amateur Championship while attending Iowa.

    Florida Gulf Coast University has a new women’s basketball coach, Reina Harmon, who brings a vibrant energy and dedication to the team. FGCU Athletic Director Colin Hargis was searching for someone to embrace the program’s tradition and compete at the highest level, and Harmon stood out in the search process. “I was a little worried this morning when I woke up and I opened the curtains and I said oh no, I guess I’m going to have to bring my own sunshine today,” said Harmon at her introduction.

    Pentathlon has been a staple in the Olympics for over a century, featuring events like swimming, cross country, and equestrian. However, when the Olympics return to the United States in 2028, there will be a notable change. Equestrian will be replaced by an obstacle course event. “This is a military style event, and so it has to follow that narrative,” said Rob Stull. “And you show me a military post on Earth, it doesn’t have an obstacle course. I’ll tell everybody, it’s like American Ninja Warrior.
