RANTOUL — Kyle Lewis admittedly wasn’t sure what to expect when he took over the Rantoul baseball program this past spring. But he was certain about one thing. “We wanted to create a winning culture, new standards and most importantly, a family atmosphere,” Lewis said. That’s what’s on deck for the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday in Lincoln, and they’re ready to repeat last year’s success. “It was pretty awesome,” M-S senior Gavin Bailey said of last year’s run during a visit to The News-Gazette’s Faces of the Spring event in February.
