ExclusiveThe newest list of the state’s favourite baby names has been released, with Isla taking the crown for the most popular choice for girls. Names Isla and Amelia battled it out for the top spot this year, separated by only four registered births, according to the Department of Customer Service. Isla’s number one ranking and move up from third spot ended the dominance of names including Charlotte, Olivia and Amelia, which have been the only favourites in the top position since Chloe in 2011.
