The combination of supramolecular self-assemblies and polymer science has resulted in the development of soft materials with diverse properties and applications. In particular, the coordination cages of predefined shape, size, and internal cavity can be utilized intelligently as promising building units for designing responsive and smart soft materials with dual porosity, contributing to the introduction of versatile host-guest chemistry into gels.

AbstractAtomic coordinate models are important in the interpretation of 3D maps produced with cryoEM and sub-tomogram averaging in cryoET, or more generically, 3D electron microscopy (3DEM). In addition to visual inspection of such maps and models, quantitative metrics convey the reliability of the atomic coordinates, in particular how well the model is supported by the experimentally determined 3DEM map.

Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFCs) are acclaimed for their high energy density and eco-friendly nature.[1], [2] Thereinto, Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM), as one of the key component, determines the longevity and efficiency of PEMFCs. However, the generation of harmful free radicals in the PEM during their operation mainly hinders its real performance [3], [4].

AbstractThe two-dimensional (2D) “sandwich” structure composed of a cation plane located between two anion planes, such as anion-rich CrI3, VS2, VSe2, and MnSe2, possesses exotic magnetic and electronic structural properties and is expected to be a typical base for next-generation microelectronic, magnetic, and spintronic devices.
