AbstractThe incorporation of conformal cooling systems has significantly enhanced the efficiency and quality of injection molding process. While several automated methods have been developed for creating conformal cooling channels in injection molds, the current optimization process for conformal cooling design parameters is hindered by labor-intensive iterative thermal simulation processes and the substantial reliance on empirical human knowledge.
