“One and done.” This simple phrase has become synonymous with everything from a single, heavy drink at a local tavern to the fast track through college basketball. The overall idea is to hit your goal in as little time as possible and with minimal investment. Being that suppressors tend to dip from both of these pails around our house, we apply this term to any can that is capable of muffling our entire collection.

There are a few hunts synonymous with spring: turkey, black bear, and snow geese. The white arctic geese have provided the newest spring recreation since the Spring Light Goose Conservation Order was established in 1999. For those who pursue the arctic geese, there is usually no shortage of breasts and legs to deal with, and most hunters have found new respect for the fine-grained meat the birds provide. The hunting and fishing market is flooded with gear these days, and it can leave consumers wondering if they've bought the right product, or even if the product they've bought is useful at all. When shopping around, it's best to keep it simple in function.

My first experience with a Browning Citori 725 was on a pheasant hunt in South Dakota. The weather was brutal. The ground was cloaked in white, and the mercury never stopped dropping. I didn’t care. The upland action was remarkable. Every ditch row I ventured down produced hard-flushing roosters, and regardless of the conditions, my Citori 725 went boom every time I pulled the trigger. Plus, it didn’t hurt that the shotgun fit me like a glove, swung with elegant grace and flat-killed those birds.
