The American Society of Safety Professionals is a worldwide community dedicated to those working in occupational safety and health (OSH). Since our founding in 1911, we have been committed to helping OSH professionals reduce workplace injuries, illnesses, and fatalities. We offer education, advocacy, the development of industry standards, and a supportive network for our members to foster their growth and enhance the OSH field. We value the rights of individuals to express their opinions on social media. However, we maintain the authority to delete comments that are deemed inappropriate, irrelevant, abusive, or used for promoting third-party websites, initiatives, or products. We encourage discussions that pertain to the topics at hand and ask that everyone treats fellow community members with respect. Our team actively monitors this space to promote constructive dialogue and to uphold our social media guidelines. We also reserve the right to block users who engage in inappropriate or abusive behavior.
