Following the widely celebrated premiere of “The Studio,” Apple TV+ has announced that the critically acclaimed hit series has landed a renewal for season two. “We're thrilled to be making a second season of ‘The Studio.’ We're looking forward to taking the lived experience of making season one and immediately putting it into season two, then repeating that loop for ten more seasons,” said creators and executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its new sports comedy, “Stick,” starring and executive produced by Owen Wilson and created by Jason Keller. The 10-episode series will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on Wednesday, June 4, followed by one new episode every Wednesday, through July 23, 2025. In “Stick,” Owen Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago.

The festival opens with Hostages starring Charlotte Ritchie and Tanya Moodie on Thursday 8th May. The film also features Nicholas Asbury, Raj Ghatak, Luke McQueen, Nick Helm, Rachel Stubbings, Jack Barry, Georgie Jones and Simon McCoy. The screening with be followed by a cast Q&A.
