WhatsOnStage

WhatsOnStage.com is the premier destination for information and ticketing related to theatre in the UK. Established in 1996 by the media company EMAP, with Carol Dukes at the helm, it was later acquired in 1999 by Terri Paddock and David Dobson, who managed the platform for 13 years. In 2012, WhatsOnStage was purchased by Time Out and then transitioned to TheaterMania.com in January 2013. TheaterMania.com, Inc. stands as a leading provider of theatre content, ticket sales, and services in the United States. The combination of these two esteemed theatre entities created the first dedicated digital theatre media group that spans the Atlantic, catering to the vibrant theatre scenes in London and New York, as well as audiences across the US and UK. Following this new partnership, the WhatsOnStage.com website was revamped in June 2013. Significant resources were invested in this updated site, which operates on a strong, adaptable platform specifically designed for theatre ticketing, show listings, and content. This innovative platform was developed by TheaterMania and has proven to be highly successful in the Broadway and wider US markets.
