Until you see a man having a heart- attack whilst watering his grass. This juxtaposition set David Lynch apart as a film- maker. He calmed you down only to stab you in the heart two seconds later. While I don’t believe I went to sleep that night, I do remember something changing in my brain that night. A lust for the underbelly of regular life.
