Scott Sewell-Imagn Images Hope you enjoyed Father’s Day Weekend. Rest assured, the Kansas State coaching staff enjoyed theirs. They landed three intriguing prospects who I consider top-notch clay for the coaching staff to mold. Since Coach Klieman made his way to Manhattan in 2019, he’s stressed the importance of bringing in elite athletes and figuring out what to do with them once they’re on campus. All three of the commits from last weekend fit that mold.

Naomi Skinner/Times Record News / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images Miles Teodecki, a 6’2”, 205-pound quarterback out of Vandergrift High School in Austin, Texas, verbally committed to the Wildcats’ 2026 recruiting class on June 4th. After careful thought and consideration I’m blessed to announce my commitment to Kansas State University. Thank you to all of my coaches and teammates who have helped and supported me throughout this journey. I could not have done this without yall.

Junfu Han/USA TODAY Network via Imagn Images Kansas State basketball added a significant piece to the 2025-’26 roster when Bowling Green transfer Marcus Johnson announced his commitment to Jerome Tang and the Wildcats on May 21st. Johnson is a 6’7”, 265-pound wing originally from Akron, Ohio (St. Vincent-St. Mary). After leading Lebron’s former high school team St. Vincent-St.Mary to back-to-back state championships, he matriculated to West Virginia but did not play for the Mountaineers.

Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images Consider this my opening statement on the 2025 season:The Window is Open. Coach Klieman and company can move Kansas State from the “good, not great” tier of teams to the “national contender” tier in 2025. This sort of opportunity doesn’t come around often for a program like Kansas State, and the Wildcats are in the perfect position to capitalize, but this isn’t a prediction of future success.
