    Ohio State’s busy month of recruiting continued on Tuesday with the team’s fifth and final one-day camp of the season, and the session ended — as always — with the school handing out some offers to some happy campers. The most notable scholarship given out after the camp was to Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna 2027 safety/wide receiver Angelo Smith (5-9, 160), whose high school and last name might be familiar to Buckeye fans as he is the younger brother of star sophomore wideout Jeremiah Smith.

    Ohio State got its first commitment of the 2028 class when running back Elijah Newman-Hall pledged his services to the Buckeyes on Friday morning. Newman-Hall was on campus for a one-day recruiting camp on Tuesday and was offered a scholarship that day. The Tampa, Fla., native rushed for 829 yards and eight touchdowns on 80 carries in 10 games in his high school freshman season while also playing defense, with 28 tackles.

    Ohio State athletic director Ross Bjork provided some clarity on Thursday about what revenue sharing will look like at Ohio State after the recent House v. NCAA settlement, saying that football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and women’s volleyball will be the first four sports that money will be allocated to. OSU is allowed $20.5 million to distribute to its student-athletes, with $2.5 million of that going to scholarships, making $18 million available to distribute between each sport.
