The charity's mission is to unite people and create a more inclusive society through workshops and performances for people of all abilities. Electric Umbrella works with youngsters in Buckinghamshire and nearby counties to foster confidence, skills and leadership potential. The group made it through to the live semis after Simon Cowell gave them his Golden Buzzer in the auditions (see the video below). Tom Billington, who lives in Tring, is co-founder and artistic director.

Jen Donnelly and Catherine Gibbon, both garden designers, wanted to create a calm oasis where parents and caregivers can step away from the chaos of hospital treatments, recharge, and regain strength—a “Room to Breathe”. When Jen’s son underwent brain surgery at age four, she spent hours in sterile hospital corridors, with nowhere to escape while waiting for news. That experience made her realise how vital green spaces within hospitals truly are.
