Since its inception in 2005, the Cameralabs website has steadily expanded, now providing more than 445,000 pages to approximately 134,000 distinct visitors each month. I create video reviews for YouTube, which have accumulated over 52 million views, and I maintain a robust presence on major social media platforms, boasting over 182,000 subscribers on YouTube, more than 12,500 followers on Instagram, and over 8,200 on Twitter (data accurate as of November 2020). In June 2019, I also brought back the Cameralabs Cafe Podcast, available on my YouTube channel and as an audio-only option, which garners around 6,000 views on YouTube and between 3,000 to 4,000 audio downloads for each episode.

IntroThe Fujifilm GFX100RF is a fixed lens rangefinder-styled camera with a 102 Megapixel medium format sensor. Announced in March 2025 and available in black or silver finishes, it essentially takes the large sensor, image processor and viewfinder of the GFX100S II and packs them into a smaller and lighter body with a fixed 28mm equivalent lens that’s more akin to a slightly chunkier version of the popular X100 series.

The instax mini 41 is Fujifilm’s latest camera to use their hugely popular instax mini film. Launched in April 2025, the mini 41 produces credit-card sized prints using a fully analogue process that eject straightaway and gradually develop before your eyes in roughly 90 seconds. The camera costs around $99 or pounds, while instax mini film costs around $20 or £15 for a twin pack of 20 shots, which works out around a dollar or 75 pence per print.

Check out my first-looks preview video below, or keep scrolling for the written highlights! IntroThe Panasonic Lumix S1R II is a high-end full-frame mirrorless camera with a 44 Megapixel BSI sensor and 8k video. Announced in February 2025, it’s the new flagship in the Lumix S series, and while it may numerically be the successor to the original S1R from 2019, it’s better to think of it as a more powerful version of the more recent S5 IIx with higher resolution photo and video along with enhanced controls.

The Feisol TT-224 is a table-top tripod now with extending legs. Launched in early 2025, it’s the follow-up to the TT-15 Mark II, one of my favourite mini tripods and a constant companion on my travels. Find out everything in my video review below, or keep scrolling for the written highlights! To paraphrase a famous saying, the best tripod is the one you have with you, and my days of lugging around a full-size model on the off-chance of needing it are long-over.
