    A second safety warning has been issued after a non-compliant brake fluid was found to still be on sale, more than a year after it was deemed a risk to public safety. Early last year the Verification of Lubricant Specifications (VLS) confirmed that Mannol Brake Fluid DOT 4 3002 failed in critical performance areas required for safe brake operation. Tests carried out found that the product failed to meet specification limits stated in the US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) 116 DOT 4.
