Horford, who turns 39 in June, signed a two-year, $19.5 million extension back in December of 2022, which secured him to Boston until this summer, where he will become an unrestricted free agent. According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, Al Horford does not plan on retiring and would prefer to stay in Boston.
