The BC Lions have signed two more Americans to the training camp roster: offensive lineman Tyran Hunt and wide receiver Juwan Manigo. Hunt (6’7, 315 lbs)- enjoyed a successful 2024 season with the Indoor Football League Frisco Fighters, earning a spot on the IFL All-Rookie Team as the Fighters led the league in rushing yards. The Virginia native played his first pro season with the United Football League San Antonio Brahmas in 2023.

The BC Lions have signed American wide receivers Victor Bolden Jr. and Lynn Bowden Jr. to the training camp roster. Bolden Jr. (5’8, 175 lbs)- the Fontana, California native began his pro career with the San Francisco 49ers in 2017 and appeared in 13 games over two seasons while racking up 396 yards on 19 kickoff returns and 23 yards on four punt returns. Bolden then had practice squad stints in Buffalo and Detroit and was selected by the Birmingham Stallions in round 13 of the 2022 USFL Draft.

Ale (6’6, 330 lbs, pronounced OO-Loo-MOE, AH-Lay)- born in Samoa and raised in Australia where he was a three-time Golden Gloves boxing heavyweight champion, Ale moved to the United States in high school before suiting up in 55 games at the University of Washington from 2018-23.

Dixon (6’0, 185 lbs)- after appearing in 22 games at South Carolina from 2019-20, the Tampa native moved to Penn State for his final three college seasons. With the Nittany Lions, Dixon registered 86 total tackles (49 solo, 37 assisted), ten tackles for a loss, 7.5 sacks, 13 pass breakups, three interceptions and a pair of forced fumbles in 37 games.
