Last week, the United States Mint began selling its 5-coin proof set of 2025 silver quarters honoring Ida B. Wells, Juliette Gordon Low, Dr. Vera Rubin, Stacey Park Milbern, and Althea Gibson. Released on April 22 for $95, the set posted six-day opening sales of 27,768 units, representing 79.4% of the possible 34,980 sets and making it the Mint’s best weekly seller.

The 2025 Proof Set climbed past 220,000 to once again lead United States Mint sales for the week. Meanwhile, rolls and bags with the new Juliette Gordon Low quarter moved in the opposite direction. Five U.S. Mint products logged declines, two more than the prior week. One dipped only slightly. The Low quarter saw the sharpest drop – not unexpected for a product settling in after release. Sales of Juliette Gordon Low quarters fell by 114,460 to a new total of 1,820,340.
