Covering Climate Now

Covering Climate Now

Covering Climate Now is a worldwide journalism initiative dedicated to enhancing the coverage of one of the most critical issues of our time: climate change. Established in April 2019 by the Columbia Journalism Review and The Nation, along with support from The Guardian, CCNow is designed by journalists for journalists. With over 400 partner news organizations reaching nearly 2 billion people, our collaborative efforts are helping to strengthen climate reporting across the media landscape. CCNow collaborates closely with newsrooms by sharing high-quality content, offering story ideas and background information, boosting the visibility of our partners' coverage, hosting climate journalism conferences, and distributing a weekly newsletter that showcases effective reporting practices.
