NAHREP: The Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators May 28, 2025 Dallas-Fort Worth agents were prominently featured in the 2025 edition of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals’ Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators Report. The highest-ranking Latino originator in the Metroplex was Joella Benson of Town Square Mortgage & Investments, Inc., who reached a sales volume of $94,811,676 across 325 transactions.

U.S. home sales slid 1.4% year over year in April but rose 11.3% month over month, according to the latest RE/MAX National Housing Report. The median-sales price was $440,000, up 2.3% year over year and 1.2% month over month. The average close-to-list-price ratio was 99%, the same as in March but down from 100% in April 2024. The average days on market for homes sold in April was 40, down four days from March and down six days from a year earlier.

Olivia Clarke Homes was acquired by Scott Felder Homes in a deal sponsored by Platform Ventures. Jennifer Johnson, who founded Olivia Clarke Homes in 2020, will remain on board. The company will continue to operate under the same name. “We are excited to become part of Scott Felder Homes,” Johnson said in a press release.

GFWAR: Still a seller’s market in Fort Worth May 15, 2025 Active listings swelled in greater Fort Worth last month as closed home sales declined annually, according to data from the Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS®. There were a total of 3,307 listings in Fort Worth in April, up 31.5% year over year. Meanwhile, 895 homes sold, down 12.9% from April 2024, and the median price rose 3.5% year over year to $338,000. Given the rate of sales, the city had a 3.8-month inventory.
